5.5

Installation of the devices for cold plate

1) Arrange the supply module on the mounting plate. Please also provide

enough space to the left of the supply module for the D3DU 3xx/x con
troller. Align all the devices in the multiaxis group in a line along the top
edge of the device. Specifications for mounting clearances see

Space requirements

.

2) Mark out the position of the threaded holes on the mounting plate. Drill

holes in the mounting plate and cut a thread for each fixing screw in the
mounting plate. The bend radius of the connecting cables must be taken
into account!

3) On the mounting plate on the cold plate devices the thermally conductive

film is already bonded. Make sure there are no foreign bodies between
the film and cooler. Make sure the surface of the cooler is free of drill
chippings or other soiling.

4) Mount the devices vertically and lined up on the cooler. Tighten the

screws evenly so that the thermal resistance remains as low as possible.
