9 Installation

Select 

Preferences

 menu that appears under the Service menu.

User configurable options:

Friendly name

Set a name for the device, which is shown

next to the settings icon and on the imaging

software.

3D Metal Artefact

Reduction

Enable or disable MAR, Metal Artefact

Reduction. MAR is used to reduce the effect

of metals and other dense radiopaque

objects on the 3D image.
It is recommended to keep MAR activated.

Force device

language

Change the language of the GUI if needed.
It is recommended not to force the language

of the GUI but change the language profile of

the workstation.

Configurations

Default to Scout

before 3D

Enable or disable automatic Scout image

activation when a 3D imaging modality is

selected.
It is recommended to have the Scout image

taking enabled.

NOTICE! 

 If the selection is set to

"enabled", a Scout image mode can

still be activated manually in the 3D

imaging program selection view.
