Eliminating disturbances

Note
If disturbances cannot be located or eliminated by using this troubleshooting

method, a technician authorised by KaVo must try and eliminate the problem.

Malfunction

Treatment unit and oper‐

The main switch of the

treatment unit is off

Turn the main switch of

the treatment unit on

The treatment light turns

off and on sporadically

The thermal fuse for pro‐

tecting the operating light

is tripped

The thermal fuse turns on

after the light cools. The

fan may not work, or the

circulation is interrupted

from dirt and dust

The operating light does

not work

The halogen lamp is de‐

fective

Exchange the halogen

lamp
