5.1

   

Adjusting the swinging arm brake

Note
The swinging arm brake determines the ease with which the swinging arm ro‐

tates.

▶ Rotate the swinging arm until the screw is visible under the hole.

▶ Tighten the screw to make it more difficult to rotate the swinging arm, or loos‐

en it to make it easier.

Adjusting the light head brake

Note
The light head brake determines the ease of the vertical swinging of the glass re‐

flector.

CAUTION

Lamp may be hot.

Injury hazard.

▶ Remove the protective shield only when the light is turned off and cold.

WARNING

Hazard from operating the lamp without a protective shield/chip shield.

This can endanger the user and patient.

▶ Do not operate the light without the protective/chip shield.
