9.1

Exchanging the dental reflector

Note
The dental reflector consists of two halves so that perhaps only one-half needs

to be exchanged. Plastic dental reflector Mat. no. 0.740.4772.

Note
To remove the protective shield, do not grab the windows; instead, grasp the

plastic frame.

Do not touch the dental reflector with your fingers.

▶ Turn the protective shield upward with one hand and remove.

▶ Remove the setscrews ① from the defective side of the dental reflector or on

both sides.

▶ Remove the defective halve(s) of the dental reflector.

Note
To obtain a correct light field, it is important for the dental reflector shells to be

firmly positioned on the bead of the rubber base.
