Connect the lines
▶ Screw the earth protector to the earth terminal.
▶ Run the lines for the 24 V supply and control in the device body.
▶ Plug-on the voltage supply (AC 24 V) of the operating light at slot X7 (PIN1 /
PIN5) of the fuse board Mat. no. 1.004.5020).
▶ Connect the adapter line (Mat. no. 1.007.9763) to the control line .
▶ Plug-on the connector X31 of the adapter line at slot X31 on the central con‐
trol board.
4.2.4 Final tasks
▶ Mount caps on the swinging and spring arm.
▶ Run function test.
▶ Carry out the appropriate safety check for the treatment unit.
▶ Mount the device covers.
4.3 Set the lamp voltage
After installation, the lamp voltage must be set in service mode.
Note
Only a service technician may change the operating voltage settings.
Note
The optimum life of the halogen lamp is only reached when the lamp voltage is
properly adjusted. For this reason, check the lamp voltage when replacing the
lamp control or transformer and readjust if necessary.
▪ Measuring point: Halogen lamp in the lamp head
▪ Lamp voltage: 12.5 +/- 0.5 V AC (standard voltmeter)
▪ Lamp voltage: 16.5 +/- 0.5 V AC (RMS voltmeter)
