Note the difference between a single-device system and a single-cable
system:
In classic satellite distribution (
single-
device system
), each receiver/participant is
connected to its own antenna cable.
In the
single-cable
system, several receiv-
ers/participants are connected to a single
antenna cable. Transmission channels are
used to allow each receiver/participant to
receive broadcast channels independently.
