Information on direct decryption using timers (recordings on encrypted channels):
The “Decrypt”
fi
eld only appears when recording encrypted channels. If you want the recording to
be unencrypted, use the
buttons to select “Yes”; if you want the recording to be encrypted
on the hard disk, select the “No” option. When doing this, note the following:
If two timers are set for encrypted channels, both with decryption set to “On”,
and the recording times overlap, it may happen that the
fi
rst timer makes an
unencrypted recording and the second timer makes an encrypted recording. More
details can be found under “Mainmenu”, “Interface Setup”, “Common Interface”.
Use the cursor (
) buttons to select the further items and use the number pad to complete the
settings. When all settings have been made, press the
button to save the recording settings.
You can view the scheduled recordings in the “Timer list” view of the EPG.
The settings “Avoid repeat episodes”
and “Record only this scale” can only be
made if the programmes are appropriately
marked by tvtv or the broadcaster
(season and episode number). If this is
not the case, you can only de
fi
ne settings
for the selection “Limit recording
start from/to”.
