Series recording:
The selected programme will be set for recording
by the EPG each time it is broadcast.
Special instructions:
However this function requires a daily
update of the EPG data (the update
time for the EPG can be speci

menu “Settings”, “User-De

“EPG settings”).
Can be set optionally
Series recording (further options):
In “Further options” the receiver also allows you
to further limit the data for a series recording.
Select the “Further options” line and con
fi

the
button. The following on-screen display
appears (see example screenshot below left):
Avoid repeat episodes:
An episode is only recorded once - any repeat of
the same episode is not recorded.
Record only this scale:
Only episodes on the season displayed below
are recorded. New episodes from a different
season or old episodes from previous seasons
are not recorded.
Limit recording start from/to:
In these two
fi
elds you can also limit the time
during the day to avoid the recording of repeats
(e.g. from 17:00 to 19:00, to avoid a repeat
at 23:00).
Press the
button to accept the “Further
options” settings.
If the “Series recording” function is used to program recording of every edition or episode of a series,
the EPG will locate the series in question on the updated schedules and automatically program the
recording of them. A change in the time the series is broadcast will be taken into account by the EPG, as its
programming is based on the series title.
This does, however, mean that the schedule change must have been known prior to the last update of
the EPG.
Only programmes are recorded that are on the channel from which you programmed the series recording.
The series recording does not work across channels!
How can I recognise a series or a season?
Where available, the number of the current
episode will always appear in brackets with
a series. For example:
Pressing the
button will call up further
information on the episode selected
(where available).
