Edit Transponder
Pressing the
button calls up the input
screen which allows you to edit/change
the settings of the previously selected
transponder.
Frequency:
Here you are shown the selected
transponder to be edited. The transponder
frequency cannot be changed.
DVB type:
Select here whether standard channels (DVB-S (SD)) or HDTV channels (DVB-S2 (HD)) are to be received
via the selected transponder.
FEC:
You only need to enter the error rate if the transponder is for reception of HDTV channels (DVB-S2 (HD)).
You can choose between the following error rates: QPSK 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 3/5, 4/5, 5/6, 8/9, 9/10 or 8PSK 2/3,
3/4, 3/5, 5/6, 8/9 or 9/10.
Polarisation:
Select here the applicable polarisation for the selected transponder - either “Horizontal” or “Vertical”.
Symbol Rate:
Use the number pad to enter the corresponding symbol rate.
When all settings have been de
fi
ned, press the
button to save the changes.

Pressing the

input screen to store a new transponder.

Frequency:
Use the number pad to enter the
transmission frequency for the new
transponder.
