Settings for “Cos-Phi(P)”
Note:
Power-based control cos
φ(P) regulates
the cos
φ
value of the power depending on
the emitted active power.
4 coordinates can be set in order to map the
P curve.
Open menu <Setting for>.
1.
Select <Cos-Phi(P) Setting>.
2. Define P/Pn, Cos-phi) and phase for
each of the 4 coordinates.
3. Define <Activating voltage>.
Note:
Activation threshold as a percentage
of Un corresponds to the “Lock-In”
voltage.
3. Define <Deactivating voltage>.
Note:
Deactivation threshold as a
percentage of Un corresponds to the
“Lock-Out” voltage.

Define cos-pih(P) Parameters
Definition:
The coordinates are the active power as a
percentage of Pn and the displacement factor
cos-
φ.
A grid operator can specify two voltage
thresholds as a percentage of Pn to activate
or deactivate the function. The voltage
thresholds are normally referred to as the
“Lock-In” and the “Lock-Out” voltage.
