Description of the appliance
The microcomputer-controlled, electronic instant water heater ED is a
pressure-operated device allowing one or several tap connections to
be supplied. The device is under full water pipe pressure.
If the appliance is operated with a supply temperature
up to 25˚C
,
specific electrical water resistance should not fall below 1000
Ω
cm.
When used with preheated water
up to max.
50°C ± 2°C (e.g. solar
system), electrical water resistance should not fall below 1300
Ω
cm.
Appliances with 27 kW rated capacity must not be operated with
preheated water.
An electronic flow detector switches the heater on already at a flow of
approx. 2.6 l/min and off again at
approx. 2.2 l/min.
The control unit adapts the heat output to the set outlet temperature
depending on cold water supply temperature and flow.
