On the rear of the chassis, slide the rear-mounting brackets on either side of the chassis until the
rear-mounting brackets contact the rack rails (see
Figure 4
).

10. Insert the screws to secure the chassis to the rack into the holes in the bracket aligned to the holes
in the rack post, starting from the bottom. Tighten the screws by using the Phillips (+) screwdriver,
number 2.
11. Visually inspect the alignment of the chassis. If the chassis is installed properly in the rack, all the
mounting screws on one side of the rack are aligned with the mounting screws on the opposite side
and the switch is level.

Installing an EX9251 Switch in an ETSI Rack
Before you begin mounting the switch on an ETSI rack, ensure that you have the following parts and
tools available:
