Locating Serial Number ID Labels on FRU Components

The power supplies and fan trays installed in EX9251 switches are field-replaceable units (FRUs). You
can remove and replace them without powering off the switch. For each of these FRUs, you must
remove the FRU from the switch chassis to see the FRU’s serial number ID label.

• Fan tray—The serial number ID label is on the top of the fan tray (see 

Figure 64 on page 159

).
