WLAN Access Point · Annex
Adjustments when accessing the WLAN Access Point through Apple mobile devices
WLAN Access Point and the accessing device (iPhone / iPad) must be in the same IP
address range. The following describes the procedure for accessing via WLAN via an
iPhone / iPad:
•
If you have not already done so, turn on the
WLAN
switch in the
Settings
Apple
menu.
- The device will connect to a locally available WLAN network, as far as this is / was
already known in the network!
•
Otherwise, select from the available WLAN networks that of the WLAN Access
Point to be configured and select this by tapping.
- In this example ‘Jung‘
- The password is requested. In delivery condition, this is ‘wireless123‘.
•
After entering, select the command
Connect.
- For a successful connection, the IP address of the iPhone / iPad must be adapted
to the address range of the WLAN Access Point.
•
On the device (Jung) that is selected now, tap on the
info
symbol (below the WLAN
switch).
- Typically, you will see values for DHCP that prevent you from connecting to
WLAN Access Point.
