the right, in the event of any warranty claims,
to ask for evidence of the annual prescribed
maintenance.
One way of documenting the maintenance in
accordance with DIN 14676 is provided by the
free JUNG web app.
The JUNG web app can be found at frwm.jung.
de and gives you the ability to record the an-
nual testing and maintenance services of your
smoke alarm devices.
14.1 Deactivating the device

To deactivate the device, pull out the
activation button.

14.2 Final decommissioning
The smoke alarm device will reach the end of
its useful life at the latest after 10 years of usage
according to the intended purpose.

Replace the device at the end of this
useful life.
