PLATFORM/REMOTE CONTROL STATION
Control Position On The Ground:
Using the platform/remote control station from this control
position is for function check and maintenance only.
Do not operate machine using the platform/remote control
station from this position if anyone is in the platform.
WHEN OPERATING THE MACHINE FROM THE GROUND POSITION KEEP AT A
DISTANCE OF AT LEAST 6 FT (1.8 M) FROM THE TRACKS.
Ground control position for the platform/remote control is
possible by connecting the platform/remote control station
to the ground/remote control cable located in the electrical
component compartment, see photo.
NOTE:
Before removing or connecting the platform/remote
control station, depress the emergency stop buttons
and the key on the engine must be in the OFF position.
Connect the ground/remote control cable on the left side of
the machine at the electrical components cabinet
(see
photo),
to the platform/remote control station cable connec-
tor.
To enable this position it is necessary to have the selector
switch at the ground controls
turned
counterclockwise, this selector switch also overrides the
footswitch in the platform.
TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY, DO NOT OPERATE MACHINE IF ANY CONTROL
LEVERS OR CONTROL SWITCHES CONTROLLING PLATFORM MOVEMENT DO
NOT RETURN TO THE OFF OR NEUTRAL POSITION WHEN RELEASED.
