CT-650 Command-Line Reference Guide

Release 9.4

directory

One of the predefined directories for saving files. For the 

Batch_Command

 command, the possible values are 

Private_Directory

 (available only to the user) or 

Common_Directory

 (available to all users within the same group). 

For other commands, any UNIX path is valid.

disconnect_timeout

The time after which the CT-650 disconnects from a VF circuit if no 
test response is received during the indicated time. Use

remain connected even if no test response is received.

DS0A_subrate

The subrate of a DS0A channel. Possible values are

The framing used to multiplex DS1 signals into a DS3 channel. 
Possible values are

The DS3 device to be looped back.

ds3_signal_format

The format of the DS3 test signal:

Muxed

 Generates a multiplexed or channelized M13 or C-bit 

signal. The multiplexed DS3 signal contains embedded DS2 
and DS1 framing. This requires values for 

ds1_framing_format

 and 

test_pattern

.

–

Unmuxed

 Generates an unmultiplexed or non-channelized M13, 

C-bit, or unframed signal. The unmultiplexed DS3 signal does 
not contain embedded DS2 and DS1 framing. This requires a 
value for 

test_pattern.

error_type

Injects one of the following error types:

–

Bit

 Injects logic or bit errors.

–

BPV

 Injects bipolar violations.

–

Frame

 Injects one or two frame errors into an M-frame. This 

selection only appears when a framed format is selected. 
Frame errors can only be injected when the RTU idle condition 
is set for IDLE mode.

The available error type depends on the circuit and type of test you 
are running.

fad_number

The FAD number (test port number) to be tested.
