Receive

Level

Level of the received signal during an echo return
loss, insertion loss, PAR, three tone, or send-receive
tone measure test, measured in dBm.

DC Power

Level

Amount of DC power in the received signal.

Echo Return

Loss

Difference between the transmitted signal and the
received signal during an echo return loss test.

Impulse

Count

Number of noise spikes above the low, middle, or high
threshold.

Threshold

(impulse noise tests) Thresholds for noise spikes,
measured in dBrnC (decibels above reference noise
weighted by the C-message frequency function).

(line transient test) Thresholds for phase shifts, mea-
sured in dB.

Dropouts

Number of four-millisecond intervals during which the
circuit cannot transmit data.

Level Dif-

ference

Difference between the power of the transmitted and
received levels.

Receive

Frequency

Frequency of the received signal during an insertion
loss or send-receive tone measure test.
