Jaylor Dump Wagon Owner Manual 

 

Hub Maintenance 

21.4

Check the oil level on the hubcap window 

before operating the machine

. If the oil level is below the 

minimum fill ring, add oil until the oil level reaches the bottom of the red fill plug.  Allow some time for 

oil to pass through the bearings and level off. 

Do not overfill

.  Use  gear type oil  suited to your 

operational environment conditions.

Check the oil level and inspect for leaks before each trip 

 

It is recommended that any time the hub is removed, the complete oil seal be replaced. Follow the hub 

manufacturer’s instructions for replacement. Change oil, inspect bearings, and clean all parts in hub at 

50,000 km. (30,000 mile)

  intervals, or if oil shows signs of contamination (such as turning a milky 

colour).
