Unloading Procedure
16.3
Follow these guidelines when unloading the machine:
1. Transport the machine to the unloading area.
2. Be sure the dump wagon is on a smooth, level, firm surface before lifting the dump box.
3. Be aware of any overhead power lines near the trailer before raising the dump box.
Electrocution could occur, even without contact.
4. Clear the dump area of bystanders, especially children.
5. If using the tailgate to discharge, unlock and raise the tailgate.
6. If using the grain door to discharge, leave the tailgate locked and raise the grain door.
7. Raise the dump box.
8. Continue unloading until the dump wagon box is empty or desired amount of material has been
unloaded.
Danger:
Never go under a raised dump box!
Warnings:

- Never leave a raised dump box unattended.

- Stay at the controls until the dump box is fully lowered.

- Do not move the dump wagon until the dump box is fully lowered.

- If the dump box will not raise, manually reduce/empty the load and obtain service from a
qualified hydraulics technician.

TRANSPORTING
The machine is designed to be easily and conveniently moved from one location to another. The
following outlines the procedure for securing and transporting these models.
Think SAFETY! Work SAFELY!
1. Always comply with the rules and regulations governing the transporting of agricultural equipment
on highways before starting.
2. Make sure all bystanders are clear of the machine and that there are no riders on the machine.
3. Be sure that the unit is hitched to the towing vehicle.
4. Make sure the SMV (Slow Moving Vehicle) emblem and all the lights and reflectors that are
required by the local highway and transport authorities are in place, clean, and visible by all
overtaking and oncoming traffic.
5. Always use hazard flashers on the towing vehicle when transporting unless prohibited by law.
6. Never transport faster than the road or terrain conditions will allow you to do safely.
