4.13.10 Setting multi GNSS

Set multi GNSS.
Signals of GLONASS (or BeiDou (BDS)) and QZSS can be received concurrently with the signals of
GPS to perform positioning.
Signals from GLONASS and BeiDou cannot be received concurrently.
JLR-4350 can receive signals from QZSS. However, signals of only the QZSS initial unit can be
received. Signals from QZSS cannot be received continuously for 24 hours.
To set multi GNSS, the receiver must support multi GNSS.



The submenu of the multi GNSS setting screen is outlined below.

(1) QZSS:

Receives signals from the QZSS satellite system that is operated by Japan.

OFF:

Receives signals from QZSS.

ON:

Does not receive signals from QZSS.

(2) GLONASS: Receives signals of the GLONASS satellite system that is operated by Russia.

OFF:

Receives signals from GLONASS.

ON:

Does not receive signals from GLONASS.

(3) BDS:

Receives signals from DeiDou (BDS) satellite system that is operated by China.

OFF:

Receives signals from DeiDou.

ON:

Does not receive signals from BeiDou.

1. Display a maintenance menu by referencing "4.15.1 Changing to a maintenance mode".

Procedure

When a positioning system is changed, non-positioning is set temporarily.
Although the condition is rectified immediately, note that the information to the external equipment
that is connected is also set to non-positioning.
