Choosing the tractor
ATTENTION!
The figures above are specifically mentioned in order to direct you on how to proceed to
choose the ideal tractor to which you are to mount your sprayer.
Different working conditions lead us to adopt
the following criterion for choosing the tractor
that will drive the Jatão J-600 ELECTRIC cannon
sprayer.

Check the sprayer weight on the identification
plate.
∙
Check the tank capacity.
∙
Check in the technical specifications table the
total power consumption required.
Example:
Sprayer weight = 904 lb
Tank capacity = 160 gallons
Total power consumption = 26,5 HP
> Choosing the tractor considering the power consumption
The tractor should have power (HP) at least 90% higher than the power required to run the sprayer.
Ex.: Power required by the sprayer = 26,5 HP
Tractor recommended: with minimun nominal power of 50,35 HP
> Choosing the tractor considering the the lift capacity of the hydraulic system
The lift capacity of the tractor’s hydraulic system must be higher than empty sprayer weight added to the
weight equivalent to the tank capacity.
Ex: Empty sprayer weight = 904 lb
Tank capacity = 160 gal (approximately 1,335 lb)
Tractor recommended: with lift capacity of hydraulic system higher than 2,239 lb.
