III.2 Battery
When running on internal battery, the TT801 remote control unit is operational for about
60 hours (without backlighting mode). A red LED indicator ( LOW ) lights on as soon as
battery reaches the low charge state.
III.3 TT801 Menus Overview
Function and data are displayed on the LCD display area (see Figure 7). The 20-key
keyboard is used for data input and selection of modes.
Besides the sixteen usual keys (from 0 to 9 and A to F), four specific keys are available on
this keyboard. Their uses are described in Table 3.

Key Use
HOME Whatever the situation in the TT801 menu you are, pressing this key leads to
the main screen. This key is also used to leave a function of the menu and
cancel the outstanding input of data.
SCROLL When several screens or data are available in a same menu, press this key
to scroll screens or data, in particular when programming:

Type of the instrument
•
Type of transmission
•
Transmitted frequency
•
Type of recurrence for transmissions IIF, CIF, FR1, FR2
•
Type of transmitted code
•
Type of received code
•
Type of receiver sequence
•
Type of expected received data
•
Configuration (associated to an instrument serial number)
CLEAR This key is used to clear the writing in progress field.
ENTER Press this key in order to confirm the selection of a command or data input.
Note
Wrong command or key press is accompanied by a “BEEP” if Audio mode is active.
