III.2 Battery
When running on internal battery, the TT801 remote control unit is
operational for about
60 hours
(without backlighting mode). A red LED indicator (
LOW
) lights on as soon as
battery reaches the low charge state.
III.3 TT801 Menus Overview
Function and data are displayed on the LCD display area (see Figure 7). The 20-key
keyboard is used for data input and selection of modes.
Besides the sixteen usual keys (from 0 to 9 and A to F), four specific keys are available on
this keyboard. Their uses are described in Table 3.
Table 3 - Specific keyboard keys
Key Use
HOME
Whatever the situation in the TT801 menu you are, pressing this key leads to
the main screen. This key is also used to leave a function of the menu and
cancel the outstanding input of data.
SCROLL When several screens or data are available in a same menu, press this key
to scroll screens or data, in particular when programming:
•
Type of the instrument
•
Type of transmission
•
Transmitted frequency
•
Type of recurrence for transmissions IIF, CIF, FR1, FR2
•
Type of transmitted code
•
Type of received code
•
Type of receiver sequence
•
Type of expected received data
•
Configuration (associated to an instrument serial number)
CLEAR
This key is used to clear the writing in progress field.
ENTER
Press this key in order to confirm the selection of a command or data input.
Note
Wrong command or key press is accompanied by a “BEEP” if Audio mode is active.
