Press the

key to call up parameter ZERO.

Disconnect the wire once before connecting an ORP

electrode or after connecting it and short-circuit the

terminals GLASS and REF on the terminal block.

Press the

key to make the highest digit flash.

Wait for about 1 to 2 minutes before pressing the

key.

indicates blinking of the display.

Press the

key to return to normal display

(measurement status). Connect the ORP electrode and

measure the voltage of the quinhydrone standard liquid.

Wait for 1 or 2 minutes. Then read the indicated

voltage.

Confirm that the indicated value is at 260±20 mV.

In the case of the CD type unit, setting of the cell

constant of the conductivity sensor is made instead of

calibration.

First, press the

key to call up parameter CELL.

Check the cell constant specified for the conductivity

sensor to be used. Press the

key to make the

highest digit flash. Pressing the key while the

digit flashes increases the value by 1. Pressing the

key then moves the flash to the next digit.

indicates a blinking of the display.

Press the

key to enter the value. The display

stops flashing.

Warning

The cell constant, being a unique value of a sensor, varies

with the type of sensor. Never forget to set the constant

prior to the measurement of conductivity. Measuring

conductivity without setting the constant may cause a

malfunction or a display error.
