and the pump starts operating. (Stroke rate initial set
value: 360 spm)
* Every time you press the key, the pump starts or
stops operating.

Caution
• Do not run the pump with the discharge-side valve closed.
Operating the pump with the discharge-side valve fully closed may cause a liquid leakage or a rupture
in the piping. Never operate the pump with the discharge-side valve completely closed.
• Do not operate the pump dry.
Operating a pump filled with liquid after dry operation may result in liquid leakage. Make sure to
operate the pump with sufficient liquid inside.
* If the pump is operated dry for a long time (30 min. or longer), the pump may be heated excessively,
which will result in liquid leakage due to the deformation of the pump unit (pump head, valve case, etc.)
and/or loosened pump head assembly.
• Loosened pump head
Loosened installation bolts on the pump head may result in liquid leakage.
* Prior to the initial pump run, fasten the 4 hex socket bolts. (During pump storage or transportation, the
hex socket bolts may be loosened.)
* Fastening torque: 2.16 N·m {22 kgf·cm}
Tighten all the hex socket bolts fully by applying an equal torque in a diagonal order among the bolts.
