• The module is designed to be used in an environment with a pollution level 2 defined by IEC 60664-1.
Do not use in an environment that is wet, exposed to water and conductive dust, flammable, explosive or corrosive.
• The module belongs to the hazard category 2 or less of the EN 954-1 standard.
• The side and lower parts of the module are not protected against mechanical hazards. It must be incorporated in the
conveyor's structure in accordance with the existing local safety regulations, in particular R-4212-1 of the Labour Code.
• The module is a virtual machine that is designed to be incorporated in a machine. Before service entry, make sure that
the machine complies with existing local safety standards, in particular Directive 2006/42/EC.
• Do not walk on the module as this could cause a failure or an accident.
• Do not touch the module during operation as this could cause injuries.
• Do not modify the product or change the control panel settings as this could cause an accident or a module malfunction.
• Make sure the 24VDC power supply and the transfer module are grounded. If not, this could cause an electric shock
in the event of a short circuit or malfunction.
• Keep the product away from moisture and dust as this could cause a failure or an electric shock.
• Keep the technical document and installation manual.

• When unpacking, be careful not to damage the belts or cables, when opening the package with a knife.
• Wear gloves to protect hands against pinching, cuts, etc.
• The module should be carried by two people holding its base as shown in photo 1. If the module is held by the upper
part, it may dislocate from the lower part. Photo 2
• Make sure that that the motor cables and the sensors are not pinched or crushed when setting down the module.
• Check the module for condition and check the number of accessories. Report any nonconformity immediately.
