CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS

To Engage the PTO

1. Fully pull up the parking brake lever,

and with the vehicle at a complete

stop, set the gearshift lever in the "N"

position. Then, start the engine.

Lever-type PTO

M/T

2. Depress the clutch pedal fully, and

after waiting for a short time, lower

the PTO lever while pressing the lock

button in order to engage the PTO.

3. Slowly remove your foot from the

clutch pedal.

To Disengage the PTO

1. While depressing the clutch pedal,

press the lock button on the PTO

lever and move the lever from the

"ON" position to the "OFF" position.

2. Slowly remove your foot from the

clutch pedal.

CAUTION

Before starting the vehicle, you

•

should confirm the following.

The special equipment is in a safe

condition for driving.
The PTO lever is in the "OFF"

position.
