System Calibration

STEP 9

Select the

Command

control setting

Test Pattern Off

and press

Send

to re-enable the iPecs Lab System data.

STEP 10

Enter the scale factor and zero offset values into the
researcher’s data acquisition system.

STEP 11

Turn the sensor

OFF

and exit the iPecs Lab software.

STEP 12

To acquire forces and moments the 8 strain voltages
need to be multiplied by the calibration matrix trans-
posed.

See formula below

. The r

esult will be 6-forces

and moments in the order of FX, FY, FZ, Mx, My, Mz
with units of lbs. and in-lbs.
