Using BIOS Setup
The system’s BIOS Setup program allows you to configure your computer hardware, and to set
security and power-saving options. The settings you choose are stored in battery-maintained
memory (CMOS RAM) that saves the information even when the computer's power is turned
off. When you turn on the computer, it is configured with the values found in this memory.
Use the BIOS Setup program if an error has occurred when restarting the system, to
reconfigure the use of the system, or if you encounter problems after changing system features.
