Configuring a CD-Recorder Drive
If you purchased a CD-Recorder (CD-R) drive with your system, it was installed before
shipment. If you purchased the CD-R drive in place of the standard CD-ROM drive, the driver
software enabling it to be used as a standard CD-ROM drive was installed before shipment. To
use the CD-R drive to record CDs, you may have to install the CD-R driver software and any
associated application software programs.

Configuring a DVD-ROM Drive
If you purchased a DVD-ROM drive with your system, it was installed before shipment. If you
purchased the DVD-ROM drive in place of the standard CD-ROM drive, the driver software
enabling it to be used as either a standard CD-ROM drive or as a DVD player was installed
before shipment. To use the DVD-ROM drive to play DVD discs, you may have to install or
configure any associated application software programs.

Configuring a Modem
If you purchased an internal modem with your system, it was installed before shipment. To use
the modem, you may have to install the driver software and any associated application software
programs. You may also have to change operating system settings to enable the system to use
the modem.

Configuring the Audio Card
The system is equipped with an ISA-based audio card. The audio driver software for the card
was installed before shipment. Audio control programs are available to control recording and
playback of audio files on the system.
