Restart the system.

To remove the password:

1.

 

Turn off power to the system and open the computer cover.

2.

 

Place a jumper on J11 on the system board.

3.

 

Turn on power to the system.  The BIOS Setup maintenance screen displays.

4.

 

Highlight the 

Clear Password

 field and press  

E

NTER

.

5.

 

Press F10 to exit BIOS Setup.

6.

 

Turn off power to the system.

7.

 

Remove the jumper from J11 on the system board and close the computer cover.
