MP73P+ : Battery charger/analyser
Operators Manual
will be tagged as failed and the time of failure
recorded.
Cell Print Interval Minutes.
During the whole charge the cell voltages can be
printed at periodic intervals in minutes. If not required
set to zero. Note during the charge the cell voltages
can be manually printed at any time by pressing the '.'
key.

Select either : -
TIME & TARGET = 100% OR LESS
TARGET ONLY = ACTUAL CAPACITY
Nominal Volts
Volts.
The battery nominal voltage is used to determine what
power rating is required for discharge and also the
help validate the data entered.
Target Volts
Volts.
The target volts is the discharged voltage that the
charge should stop the discharge and report the
battery capacity.
Discharge
Resistance
Ohms.
This is the virtual resistance to be used to calculate
discharge amps based on battery voltage.
Discharge Time
Hours and
Minutes.
This is the discharge time (usually 1 hour). If TIME &
TARGET has been selected when this time is reached
the charge will stop and report the battery capacity of
100%, otherwise the discharge will continue to report
actual capacity.
AUTOMATIC CELL BALANCE

Description
Number of Cells
1 to 20
The number of cells in the battery.
Discharge Amps
Amps.
The discharge current to maintain.
Discharge Time
Hours and
Minutes.
The duration of the discharge, this will usually be a
long time such as 17 hour so that full cell discharge
has been achieved.
Cell Print Interval Minutes.
During the whole charge the cell voltages can be
printed at periodic intervals in minutes. If not required
set to zero. Note during the charge the cell voltages
can be manually printed at any time by pressing the '.'
