Dual Monitor Support
The BIOS supports single and dual video when add-in video adapters are installed. BIOS Setup does not
have an enable/disable option for dual video. It works when both the
Onboard Video
and
Add-in Video
Adapter
options are enabled.
In the single video mode, the onboard video controller or the add-in video adapter is detected during POST.
In dual video mode, the onboard video controller is enabled and is the primary video device. The add-in
video adapter is allocated resources and is considered as the secondary video device during POST. The add-
in video adapter is not active until the operating system environment is loaded.
9.4
Intel® Ethernet Network Adapter for OCP* Support
The server board supports several types of Intel® Ethernet Network Adapters. The adapters adhere to the
OCP* specification and have a special connector that allows them to be installed to the OCP card slot on the
server board. These cards are compatible with the Open Compute Project* (OCP*) 3.0 specification.
Note:
The adapters listed in the following table are supported. No other adapters are supported.
