I nt el Deskt op Board D2550DC2 includes a passively- cooled, dual- core I nt el At om
processor w it h int egrat ed graphics and m em or y cont r oller . The pr ocessor is solder ed
t o t he Deskt op Board and is not cust om er upgr adeable.
NOTE
The board is designed t o be passively cooled in a pr operly vent ilat ed chassis. Chassis
vent ing locat ions ar e r ecom m ended abov e t he processor heat sink area for m axim um
heat dissipat ion effect iv eness.

board should be populat ed wit h DI MMs t hat support t he Serial Presence Det ect ( SPD)
dat a st ruct ur e. I f your m em ory m odules do not support SPD, y ou will see a
not ificat ion t o t his effect on t he screen at pow er up. The BI OS will at t em pt t o
configur e t he m em or y cont roller for norm al operat ion.
The Deskt op Board has t w o 204- pin DDR3 SO- DI MM socket s w it h gold- plat ed cont act s.
