Installing an Intel

Z-U130 USB Solid-State
Drive or Compatible Device
An I nt el Z- U130 USB Solid- St at e Drive or com pat ible device can be inst alled on t he
Deskt op Board by using t he onboard USB 2.0 header show n in Figure 1, S. This
header pr ovides support for t he solid- st at e drive.
To inst all an I nt el Z- U130 USB Solid- St at e Drive or com pat ible device on t he Deskt op
Board, follow t hese st eps:
1. Observ e t he pr ecaut ions in " Befor e You Begin" on page 23.
2. Align t he connect or ( Figure 10, A) on t he bot t om of t he solid st at e drive w it h t he
USB 2.0 header on t he Deskt op Board. The connect ors ar e k ey ed and w ill m at e
corr ect ly w hen t he solid st at e drive is orient ed as show n in Figure 10.
3. Secur e t he solid st at e drive t o t he Deskt op Board w it h t he provided scr ew
( Figure 10, B) .
