18.1.2 Parameters
Table 5: General device data section
Address
This is the device address assigned during configuration. Select Change for automatic
allocation of the first free address or type in the address.
Activation
type
Refer to previous paragraph 18.1.1 Activation Type.
Mounting
Base
Device base, for the features refer to Appendix B and
Appendix C
in the Installation Manual.
Remote LED
Signals the presence of a remote LED connected to output R.
Day Mode
sensitivity
Night Mode
sensitivity
For detectors only. The sensibility determines the Alarm Threshold during Day/Night mode. If
the detector values exceed the set alarm threshold, it will activate and trigger the respective
Activation Type event. The value depends on the type of detector.
If you set Day sensibility values only, the values will be applied during Day mode and Night
mode.
Early
Warning
Threshold
Enabled if Early Warning is an enabled as a signal to the Control panel.
If the values exceed the Early Warning threshold, the respective signal will appear on the
display and will be activated on the control panel and, if programmed, also on zones.
The value depends on the type of detector.
Special
Actions
Control panel statuses that can be forced when the device activates. Some statuses simulate
manual commands (actions) executed on the control panel (e.g. Investigate, Silence, Reset).
Options
Device options:
LED Blink
Enables periodic blinking on the device LED.
Disable PreAlarm in
Night Mode
Disables the Pre-alarm time during Night mode (Pre-alarm signals
are inappropriate in places that are closed to the public at night).
Alarm Verification
The control panel signals alarm status only when the detector
values exceed the alarm threshold, RESET, then exceed the alarm
threshold again within a set time (refer to 14.2 Defining zones). If
the detector values do exceed the alarm threshold after RESET,
the control panel will consider the first alert a false alarm and
consequently will not activate any alarm signals. If this option is
not selected, the control panel will signal an alarm as soon as the
detector values exceed the alarm threshold.
Fault when activated
If activation of a Fault signal is required when the device activates.
(e.g. An input module that controls compressor Fault conditions.
Generates a Fault signal if the compressor blocks).
Restorable Input
This option is not available in the case of Alarm-type activation. If
selected, the device will be restored to standby when the condition
that activated it clears.
Ignore Supervision
If selected, faults on the input, output and supervisory terminals
of the external voltage supply the modules that have need of it
(24V external) will be ignored.
Output NON
silenceable
The output will remain active even after the control panel has
executed a Silence command.
Inverted Output
The output is normally active, and deactivates when the activating
conditions occur.
Not an R Output
If you enable this option, the R output will activated even when
the number of activated R output exceeds the allowed limit.
Apply post-reset
time
If you enable this option, control panel will ignore the status of the
devices with this setting for the preset time.
Device Zone
This is the zone the device belongs to.
Consult the local laws in force for any restrictions regarding the "definition of zones"
(dimensions and installation).
