Reset switch.
Both high and low evaporator temperature
lights energized
Sensor in evaporator (2AT) well is open/short circuited – replace
sensor.
Defective transformer
Check voltage to primary side of transformer – no voltage at primary,
check wiring.
Check for 115 volts at secondary side of transformer – no voltage at
secondary, replace transformer.
Defective compressor contactor (1M)
Check for 115 volts at contactor coil – replace if contacts are open.
1OL compressor overload tripped
Check trip set point. Reset overload.
Dryer is over charged, or has not been charged with refrigerant as a
liquid.
Fan is not operating properly
High refrigerant temperature
Local ambient temperature, inlet temperature, or air load too high.
Confirm dryer size for application.
Remove power and check 1RTS high temperature switch for
continuity below 87
_
C (189
_
F) sensor temperature – replace if open.
Check 2RTS superheat switch for attachment/function.
Refrigerant leak.
Fan is not operating properly.
Allow unit to cool (this may take 2–4 hours) and try to restart.
High refrigerant pressure switch (1RPS)
tripped
Local ambient temperature, inlet temperature, or air load too high.
Confirm dryer size for application.
Dryer package filters are dirty – replace filter element(s).
Condenser coil is dirty – clean coil.
Remove power and check 1RPS high pressure switch for continuity
below 23 barg (335 psig) – replace if open.
Dryer is over charged, or has not been charged with refrigerant as a
liquid.
Fan is not operating properly.
