Through the control inputs
GAS
(pin 9, 13 and 25 of the 25 way Sub-D connector) it
is possible to select a gas loaded in the active gas memory (one gas out of four). The
Ecotec E3000 will then operate in the single gas mode.
With an edge triggered signal from
LOW
to
HIGH
at Pin 25, the selected gas at Pin 13
and 9 becomes valid.
7.1.4
PLC Outputs
These outputs can be used to monitor the Ecotec E3000 via a programmable logic
control (PLC).
PLC Outputs are designed as an „Open Collector Output“ or a relay output. Please
refer to the example given below for an open collector output „Error“.
