13.4 Quick selection of programs (JOB
MODE)

To select programs quickly (JOB MODE):

•

Press and hold down ‘E2’ for a few seconds, or the
screen icon 

; the display changes as shown in the

following diagram.

•

Turn one of the rotary switches and tap the program
management icon 

; to confirm, press ‘E2’.

Alternatively, tap the icon on the screen.

The display changes as shown in the following diagram.

This is very useful for quickly selecting saved welding
programs.
Scroll through the saved programs by turning ‘E2’ to the 
right or left. The program that can be used immediately
is shown.

To exit this mode, press on the screen icon 

.

13.5   Remote controls and special torches

Using connector ‘C1’ on the front, the machine can be
controlled by remote controls or torches with optional
additional features. Remote control selection is
automatic when the connector is inserted and remains
until the connector is physically disconnected.

The remote control icon will appear in the lower
left corner of the main screen.

14 General settings

To access the general settings menu:

•

Press and hold down ‘E2’ for a few seconds, or  on
the screen icon 

; the display changes as shown

below.

•

Turn one of the rotary switches and tap the general
settings icon 

; to confirm, press ‘E2’. Alternatively,

tap the icon on the screen.

The display changes as shown in the following diagram
(general settings menu).

14.1 Setting user level

To set the level of complexity of the interface and the
current diagram depending on the user’s competence
and the need for setting the welding parameters:

•

On the general settings menu, turn one of the rotary
switches and tap the user level icon 

; to confirm,

press ‘E2’. Alternatively, tap the icon on the screen.

The display changes as shown in the following diagram.

•

Turn ‘E2’ right or left to select the user level between: 

basic 

, 

medium 

 

or 

advanced

•

Settings are confirmed by tapping HOME 

 or by

pressing ‘E2’; following confirmation the main screen 
reappears.
