6.4.12 VIDR Adjustment (White Balance Adjustment)
(1) G OFFSET Adjustment
Conditions:
Input:
PC
PC input signal: VG-Prog. No. 856
XGA 60Hz
Test pattern:
OPTION 2 (Display only G)
Requirements:
By performing
LCD1 VIDR
operation, adjust the G-OFFSET so that the intensity
difference between 0% and 5%, 95% and 100% can be distinguished.
The difference of the intensity between 95 and 100 is the minimal one that is
distinguishable or not.

(2) White Balance Adjustment
Conditions:
Input:
PC
PC input signal: VG-Prog. No. 856
XGA 60Hz
Test pattern:
Gray scale
Requirements:
By performing
LCD1 VIDR R_VIDEO_REF
and
LCD1 VIDR B_VIDEO_REF
operation,
set the gray-scale halftone values (from black to white) to optimal value,
that is, no-colored pattern is observed.
If color balance cannot be adjusted with above-mentioned adjustment, adjust color
balance by fine-tuning eight items of
Adjust PC Image PC VIDEOAMP
(AMP_BIAS, AMP_GAIN and others).
