5.2 Troubles when the Power is turned on
When the power is turned on, there may be troubles such as no Projection Lamp turning
on, no projected image, scrambled images, no color reproduction (R, G, or B), and no
audio output. Replacement parts are the Lamp Power Supply, the Optical Engine
Assembly, and PKGs. And some trouble can be soleved by adjustment.
The ON/STANDBY button is turned on.
The POWER LED is blinking red.
Are the Sirroco Fan (106) and the Lamp Bay Fan (108) is operating?
Yes
No
Is the Air Filter attached securely?
Replace the Sirroco Fan (106),
the Lamp Bay Fan (108).
Yes
No
Is the Microswitch (204) connected to
Replace the Filter Kit (302).
ASO-02PKG (103) and operating properly?
Yes
No
Replace the ASO-02PKG (103).
Rerplace the Microswitch (204).
The POWER LED is blinking green.
Replace ASM-02PKG (102).
The Key Panel LED and the Fans opereate normally, but the Lamp is not on.
Is "gee" noise heard when the Lamp is turned on? (Listen to the noise carefully.)

Replace the Lamp Unit (301).
Replace the Lamp Power
Supply (105).
In the PC or VIDEO mode, there are stripes, dead lines, or noise in a color channel.
Replace the ASO-02PKG (103). Is trouble solved by replacement?
No
Yes
Replace the ASM-02PKG (102).
Use the replaced PKG.
Is trouble solved by replacement?
No
Yes
Replace the (101) ASC-02PKG.
Use the replaced PKG.
Is trouble solved by replacement?

Replace the Optical Engine (112).
Use the replaced PKG.
