KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader User’s Manual

(7) Unit connector

This connector is used to connect the front unit and back unit.

(8) RJ-45 connector (Ethernet port)

Connect a LAN cable and this port allows Ethernet communication with connected devices that are equipped with an

Ethernet interface.

(9) Buzzer

Notifies the user of the result of reading and verifying a UID. For details, refer to Chapter 5 "1 KW2D Series Smart

RFID Reader Statuses and Operations" on page 5-1.

(10) Power supply terminals

These terminals are used to supply DC power (24V DC) to the KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader.

A host device or network device is being connected to the RJ-45 connector.

The KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader is sending or receiving data
