With an Active Remote or a SignalTEK II Remote Unit termination the possible faults detected are:

Fig 29 Crossed pairs Fig 30 Split pairs
Fig 31 Bridged shorts Fig 32 Remote shorts
As with the result of the Crossover fault shown in Fig 21 and Fig 22, all wiremap test results are displayed
as a graphic that includes the FAULT icon. When the icon is selected, the faults are presented as a list.
The indications that follow appear on the Active Remote device:
Flashing green LED
– Test Passed.
Flashing red LED
– Test Failed.
Amber LED
– DC voltage greater than 12 Volts detected – cannot perform test.
