Description:

Sets the communication protocol.

Syntax:

$AAPN[CHKSUM](CR)
$

Delimiter character

Address of the module to be read (00 to FF)

Command to set the communication protocol

0: DCON protocol

1: Modbus RTU protocol

3: Modbus ASCII protocol
Before using this command, the slide switch
must be in the INIT position for tM-TH8, see
Section A.1 for details. The new protocol is
saved in the EEPROM and will be effective after
the next power on reset.
