If you encounter problems when running the 3580 Ultrium 2 Tape Drive, refer to the flowchart in
Figure 21. For explanations of codes on the single-character display, see Appendix A, “Codes on the
Single-Character Display”, on page 55. Should the drive need to be replaced, go to “Replacing the Tape
Drive” on page 52. Please review the pre-call checklist on “Pre-Call Checklist” on page 50 before calling
