Exit Maint Mode

followed by:

Ultrium Tape Drive

Drive Empty

If no error is detected,

0

temporarily appears in the single-character display,

then goes blank. The drive then exits maintenance mode.

v

If an error is detected, the single-character display shows an error code but
still exits maintenance mode. To determine the error, locate the code in
Table 8 on page 55.
To clear the error, turn the power off, then on again.

The 3580 Ultrium 2 Tape Drive also exits maintenance mode automatically after it
completes a maintenance function or after 10 minutes if no action has occurred.
