Creating and using file systems on the storage unit for an Intel host
running Linux
This topics describes how you create and use file systems on the storage unit for
an Intel host running Linux.
After you partition the disk as described in “Partitioning storage unit disks for an
Intel host running Linux” on page 109, the next step is to create a file system.
Figure 58 shows an example of the EXT2 Linux file system (which is nonjournaled)
by using the mke2fs .
Figure 59 on page 112 shows an example of the EXT2 Linux file system (which is
nonjournaled) by using the mkfs command.
