Crossover cables

are typically required when making 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX

connections to other hubs. The 8237 does not

require

crossover cables, but if you

need them, Figure A-4 and Figure A-5 show you how to wire the connectors.

Two standards are shown for wiring UTP connectors, T568-A and T568-B. The only
difference between them is in the color of the insulation around the wires.
