3. Maintenance
DIN 1988 part 8/UVV chlorination prescribes maintenance of the Hydro
DOS
®
chlorine dioxide
production system after 6 months.
A visual inspection of the plant for possible damage and leakage as well as a check of technical
function of individual plant components is necessary.
Caution!
All maintenance and repair work at the plant must be carried out by
our service staff or an authorized expert only!
Original spare parts shall be used only.
The plant must be flushed carefully, discharged and put out of
operation properly prior to opening as well as repair and maintenance
work (see chapter VIII / point 5.2)
The mains supply must be separated and secured against switching
on prior to repair and maintenance work!
Protective clothing must be worn for all work a handling with
chemicals is not excluded!
A start-up according to chapter VIII / points 1 and 2 is necessary
once all repair and maintenance work is finished!
Recommendation
:
It is recommended to sign a maintenance/service contract for a
regular inspection of the plant including all safety inspections
and replacement of wear and tear parts.
